By giving to New Ebenezer Retreat, you will become a part of our story and legacy. You will insure the preservation of programs, facilities, and future memories. We cannot wait to partner with you! Your Donation is Deductible. New Ebenezer Retreat and Conference Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Our Federal EIN is 58-1298813. All donations are tax-deductible within the United States. We are happy to provide a letter of acknowledgement for every donation as well as a receipt.
New Ebenezer operates as a nonprofit organization which means that we depend on the generosity of our donors to keep the Retreat Center today and for future generations. There are many ways to contribute to our mission, which will in turn be a blessing on the many children, families, and groups that call this place their Home Away From Home.
Ways To Give
If you make a General Monetary Donation, it will be used for our highest needs of operation. These unrestricted gifts make a difference in our daily needs as well as for larger projects.
In-Kind Donations are extremely helpful. We can utilize supplies, tools, and other material goods in many ways that work toward moving New Ebenezer forward.
You may choose to donate to a specific project, or Capital Improvement, that we have the necessity or dreams to complete. We have many needs that, if met, could help New Ebenezer Retreat serve greater populations and many more generations to come. If you are interested in learning more about our planned improvements, please see below! For more information on any of our projects, please contact Clara Barnes at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Donations can be made online or by cash/check in the mail.
Our most important project is to overhaul our drain field. This is extremely costly and time-sensitive so that we might be able to continue functioning as an organization. We will no longer be able to serve you if we cannot overhaul this system soon. Please consider giving to this cause so we may continue our mission and serve our community better than before.
With the completion of the upgraded Boltzius Lake Pavilion in 2018, we have a vision to expand the area to include a recreation center. This facility would be a place to hold wedding receptions, classes for our Ebenezer ALIVE! program, team building retreats, and more. It is envisioned to be an open-air facility that would provide flexibility and accessibility for all.
Part of our mission statement is “to provide a positive setting for learning and growth, and to empower individuals, couples, families, and groups to experience renewal with each other and with God.” We cannot fully live out this mission if we are not able to accommodate all guests, no matter their ability. With funding, we will upgrade cabins, bathrooms, and our pool to be wheelchair accessible so that all guests will feel comfortable and cared for.
Because we serve so many groups, our facilities can sometimes become run down. Our banquet chairs would love to be recovered or replaced so that we can continue to make your events run smoothly!
Indian Council House
Have you ever seen an Indian Council House? We have! In decades past, New Ebenezer has been the home to a Council House modeled after true Native American Indian designs. It was used for school groups to engage in hands-on learning activities so they might better understand history and heritage of Georgia and the greater United States. Through many storms and lesser usage, the Council House is now rendered unsafe and begs to be rebuilt. We would love to see this facility come to life again to be used for education for many years to come.
Low Ropes Course
Becoming a better team is at the core of your business or group. When people learn how to work together, they produce better results and relationships. New Ebenezer would like to build a low ropes course to aid in our team building program to help guests become better teams.
